Non-regulated skilled crafts

The Trade and Crafts Code (HwO) distinguishes between skilled crafts that do not require authorisation and those that do. Self-employment in the unregulated crafts does not require qualification certificates such as the title of master craftsman. The title of master craftsman can be acquired voluntarily. In the Trade and Crafts Code, you can read which
trades are not subject to approval.
