Where do the jobs on Make it in Germany come from?
The job openings are originally published on the job board of the Federal Employment Agency (BA). All employers that are listed here have agreed that their vacancies will be published on Make it in Germany. Hence, they gladly accept applications by skilled professionals from abroad.
Please note that the job vacancies are listed in the language in which employers originally submitted them to the BA. Currently, most of the job vacancies are listed in German.
Our job listing contains jobs for which you need to be a qualified professional. This is usually a university degree or vocational training certificate. Work that does not require qualifications, such as helping activities or seasonal workers, are excluded here. Temporary work is also excluded.
How to use our job listings
Search function: The search function works in German and English and allows you to look for vacancies in your professional field. To do so, type in the name of your desired occupation in the search box in either English or German and press “Find jobs”. You will then receive all relevant job vacancies that match your search. Afterwards you can also use the filter box on the right side of the page to only be shown results from a specific region. Do this by selecting the federal state you would like to work in and then click “Filter”.
Choose jobs: You may also specify your job search by searching by industry. For this purpose choose an industry and if applicable a sub-industry from the “Search by industry” box on the right and click “Filter”. You will then receive all relevant job vacancies matching the selected industry. Subsequently you may then determine a specific region for your job search in the filter box on the right. Do this by selecting the federal state you would like to work in and then clicking “Filter”.
