Privacy notice

The contact form completes the existing information offers with the possibility of asking individual and more detailed questions and is therefore the central information mailbox for you. The contact form is jointly implemented by Make it in Germany, the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) and the Federal Employment Agency (BA).

The protection of privacy and personal rights is a key concern for the BAMF and the BA. We would therefore like to inform you of the following:

Your enquiries will be assigned to one of five main topics, and they will be handled either by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) or the Federal Employment Agency (BA), depending on the area of responsibility:

  1. Job search, work and career (BA)
  2. Visa and residence (BAMF)
  3. Recognition and vocational qualifications (BIBB)
  4. Learning German (BAMF)
  5. Questions about the "Make it in Germany" project (Make it in Germany)

If needed, your contact requests will be forwarded by email between BAMF and BA in order to provide you with the best service possible. There, they will be recorded in Jira Fields for reliable processing and summarisation. If it is not possible to assign your enquiry to a BAMF or BA staff member, your personal data (name, email address, nationality, current place of residence, profession, qualifications) and your enquiry will be forwarded by email to BAMF or BA official in charge. Information is exchanged via encrypted emails only.

The personal data you provide will be collected, used and processed by the BAMF and the BA exclusively for the purposes of your consultation. Your data will not be passed on to third parties, is voluntarily shared by you and will be deleted immediately.
