Whitelist
German: Positivliste
The Federal Employment Agency’s whitelist pinpoints the non-academic occupations and occupational categories in which there is a shortage of workers and which qualified professionals from non-EU countries have facilitated access to the German labour market. For occupations on the whitelist, no check is required to ascertain whether the position can be filled by someone in Germany before recruiting a worker from abroad.
