were employed in Germany under a residence permit for the purpose of employment in February 2022. Of those, 53,648 were EU Blue Card holders.

The anabin database provides information on foreign universities and their higher education qualifications. It also helps authorities, employers, and private individuals to classify foreign qualifications within the German system. For a quick introduction to anabin, watch the explanatory video.

Make it in Germany’s YouTube channel was launched 8 years ago in 2014. The channel has generated more than 40 million video views so far this year alone. The top 5 countries are India, Brazil, Vietnam, Mexico and Germany.
