New graphic overview: visa options
What visas are available to me? A new graphic overview provides a simplified recap of the different types of visas available to citizens of countries outside the EU and the EEA (‘third countries’). Yes/No questions, for example about qualifications and job offers, guide you through the process. The graphic overview is available in four languages and can be found under ‘Visa and entry process’ and in the download area. This list is not complete: depending on individual circumstances, other options may be available.

Updated: instructions for the Anabin database
The Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB) operates the anabin database. Anabin can be used to verify the recognition of foreign universities in Germany and the comparability of foreign and German academic degrees. The graphic overview on ‘Make it in Germany’, which explains how to use the database, has been updated in all four languages: layout, new functions and notes on the proper use of anabin.
