New webinar dates
New year, new webinars! In February, German employers will gain a short introduction and overview of the recruitment of skilled workers from abroad (employer webinars in German). In a separate webinar for skilled workers, those from India will receive detailed information regarding work visas in Germany from the German embassy in Mumbai (in English).

New obligation to provide information for employers
On 1 January 2026, Section 45c of the Residence Act became effective: employers now must inform their skilled workers from third countries about the free advisory service from “Fair Integration” on employment and social law issues. Additionally, they must include the contact details of the nearest advisory centre. On the website of “Fair Integration”, you will find the informational leaflet for employees with the contact details of the advisory centres (available in various languages). International skilled workers are a helpful support for your company, and a good start is the pathway for lasting success. With the welcome folder from “Make it in Germany”, you receive a free and customizable information packet for your new employees in German, English, and Spanish.
