Vertom is a maritime service provider, supplier, and expert with more than 50 years of experience and a global area of operation.

From our office in Moormerland, we are responsible for the technical management of a modern fleet of currently nearly 50 multipurpose vessels with capacities ranging from 3,000 to 12,000 DWT.

Due to the continuous growth of our fleet, we are constantly looking for motivated and qualified team members to join our company.

Your Responsibilities

• Procurement of technical and nautical equipment as well as consumables for our fleet
• Obtaining and comparing quotations and negotiating with suppliers worldwide
• Monitoring delivery schedules and ensuring timely supply to vessels
• Maintaining and expanding our supplier network
• Close coordination with onboard crew, technical and operations departments
• Cost control and continuous improvement of purchasing processes
• Handling claims and supporting quality control activities

Your Profile

• Completed commercial training or degree in business administration, logistics, or a comparable field
• Professional experience in purchasing, ideally within the shipping or technical sector
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Fluent in English & German is an advantage
• Strong negotiation and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a structured and reliable manner
• Team player with a proactive mindset
