Your responsibilities - You will actively contribute to the further development and effective implementation of the Compliance Management System within the Decarbon Technologies segment and take ownership of selected compliance areas, including anti-corruption, data compliance, anti-money laundering, and export control/trade compliance. A key focus of your role will be the provision of antitrust and competition law advice as well as the further development and implementation of competition law compliance measures.
- You will help ensure that segment-wide standards are adhered to, compliance risks are identified at an early stage, and regulatory requirements are implemented efficiently across the organization.
- As part of a holistic compliance approach, you will advise and support the business on additional compliance topics, particularly with regard to the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) and related regulatory requirements.
- You will advise the companies within the thyssenkrupp Decarbon Technologies segment on a broad range of compliance matters. This includes, among other things, providing antitrust and competition law advice in MundA projects, addressing liability-related questions arising from the application of the Compliance Program, and supporting the coordination and enablement of Compliance Officers in the Business Units and regions. In doing so, you will contribute to the effective and consistent implementation of compliance requirements throughout the segment.
- You will support compliance reporting at segment and Group level, assist in the development of compliance processes, policies, concepts, and preventive measures, and accompany their implementation in an international environment.
- You will monitor and analyze regulatory developments and compliance risks, derive appropriate measures, and support their implementation.
- In addition, you will independently manage cross-functional compliance projects and actively drive the further development of the compliance organization and compliance culture within the segment.

- You hold an degree in Law and have successfully completed the Second German State Examination (Second State Exam) or possess an equivalent legal qualification. Additional qualifications, such as an LL.M. or other postgraduate degree, are considered an asset.
- You bring significant and recent experience in a senior compliance role within an international corporation or complex business environment. You have a proven track record of not only advising on compliance matters, but also shaping, implementing, and continuously improving compliance programs and governance frameworks.
- You have extensive expertise in the design, implementation, and enhancement of Compliance Management Systems (CMS).
- You have substantial experience advising on competition and antitrust law matters in an international business context, including cooperation agreements, distribution structures, public tenders, and MundA transactions.
- Your expertise covers key compliance areas, including competition law, anti-corruption, data protection and digital regulation, anti-money laundering, and trade compliance.
- You combine strong legal and regulatory knowledge with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach and the ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.
- You are an effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
- You thrive in an international and cross-cultural environment and distinguish yourself through integrity, discretion, resilience, and a high level of personal accountability.
- You have successfully led complex, cross-functional, and international projects and are comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. German and Spanisch language skills are highly desirable.
