Ihr Profil

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informatik, Informationstechnologie oder vergleichbar
  • 2–3 Jahre Berufserfahrung im IT-Operations-Umfeld
  • Erfahrung in der Administration von Windows Server und/oder Linux
  • Kenntnisse in Netzwerkmanagement (Switches, Firewalls, VLAN)
  • Erfahrung mit WMS-Systemen und Verständnis logistischer Prozesse von Vorteil
  • Grundkenntnisse in Datenbanken (z. B. SQL Server)
  • Verständnis für IT-Sicherheitsstandards und Datenschutz (DSGVO)
  • Sehr gute Deutsch- oder Englischkenntnisse (Arbeitssprache)
  • Strukturierte, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Engineer (m/f/d) to support and maintain the IT

infrastructure of our new warehouse operation in Germany.

Contract Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Probation Period: 6 months

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure stable operation of warehouse IT systems

• Manage and maintain servers, network equipment, and storage systems

• Configure and support the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and related

applications

• Implement data backup and disaster recovery strategies in compliance with GDPR

• Collaborate with headquarters IT teams to resolve complex technical issues

• Provide 1st and 2nd level IT support

• Deliver technical training to warehouse staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

• 2–3 years of IT operations experience

• Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux administration

• Knowledge of network configuration and security management

• Experience supporting WMS systems; understanding of logistics processes preferred

• Basic knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL Server)

• Strong awareness of IT security and data protection compliance (GDPR)

• Fluent German or English (working language)

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
