About Project Iris 

Project Iris is an applied research initiative dedicated to automated spatial data analysis, land registry intelligence, sustainable infrastructure mapping, and open-source resilience modeling. 

To ensure long-term independence and funding for non-profit research, Project Iris works with an established commercial transfer network (including RE-Managers GmbH). Through this framework, proprietary data algorithms, geospatial scoring models, and automation tools are licensed and deployed across real-world commercial sectors (e.g., real estate, institutional investments, infrastructure providers, and SME enterprise solutions). 

Your Focus & Responsibilities 

• Research Transfer & Commercialization: Identify commercial use cases for our geospatial and resilience data models, translating scientific capabilities into clear value propositions for enterprise clients and institutional partners. 
• B2B Outreach & Pipeline Management: Lead proactive outreach campaigns targeting potential data partners, municipalities, enterprise clients, and specialized service providers using modern CRM and automation tools (e.g., Odoo ERP, automated email workflows). 
• Partner Onboarding & Account Management: Manage communication with corporate partners, coordinate pilot testing phases, and gather operational market feedback to help researchers refine underlying data models. 
• Marketing & Value Proposition Communication: Create structured presentation decks, use-case briefs, and digital campaign materials to position our data products in commercial and public markets. 
• Funding & Grant Alignment: Support the interface between commercial data licensing and applied research funding projects. 

What We Are Looking For 

• Educational Background: Degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, International Business, Marketing, Geoinformatics, Economics, or a related field. 
• Professional Competencies: 
• Strong interest in technology, spatial data, AI platforms, or digital business models. 
• Experience with or quick adoption of digital outreach tools, CRM systems (e.g., Odoo), and structured email communication. 
• High level of communication clarity, commercial acumen, and consultative relationship-building skills. 
• Mindset: Proactive, structured, and comfortable working at the intersection of non-profit research and commercial markets. 
• Eligibility: Open to local and international applicants currently in Germany (e.g., Chancenkarte / Opportunity Card, Job-Seeker Visa, EU Work Permit). 
• Languages: Excellent working proficiency in English (required); good command of German is a strong advantage for the DACH market.
