Position Overview
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Survey Technician - Construction & Engineering Surveying (m/f/d) to join our Special Projects Division based in Dresden, Germany.
In this role, you will be involved in a long-term semiconductor construction project, supporting major building construction (Hochbau) and industrial construction (Industriebau) works. You will carry out a range of surveying activities including construction surveying, setting out, as-built surveys, and engineering surveying using the latest surveying, laser scanning, and geospatial technologies.

What You’ll Do
- Carry out construction surveying activities on large-scale building and industrial construction projects.
- Perform setting out and setting out works for structural, civil, and infrastructure elements.
- Conduct as-built surveys to verify completed works and document project progress.
- Deliver accurate engineering surveying services in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Work as part of a surveying team under the guidance of an experienced Geospatial Engineer.
- Establish and densify survey control networks in line with industry best practices.
- Operate modern surveying equipment, including Total Stations, GNSS receivers, laser scanners, imaging equipment, GPS systems, and data collectors.
- Validate survey measurements using GNSS, Total Station, and laser scanning technologies.
- Prepare and manage setting out data for upload to survey instruments.
- Process and analyse survey data using software such as AutoCAD, StarNet, and Leica Cyclone.
- Carry out regular calibration checks and maintenance of survey equipment and accessories.
- Undertake additional project and surveying-related tasks as required.
What You Will Bring
- Completed vocational training, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
- Experience in construction surveying, engineering surveying, setting out, or as-built surveying would be advantageous.
- Previous experience working on construction sites within the building construction, industrial construction, or infrastructure sectors is desirable.
- Understanding of surveying principles, methodologies, and geospatial data collection techniques.
- Experience working with modern surveying equipment, including Total Stations and GNSS systems.
- Experience with laser scanning technologies and related software (e.g. Leica Cyclone) would be beneficial.
- Eligibility to work in Germany.
- Good communication skills in English; German language skills would be advantageous.
- Highly motivated, quality-focused, responsible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
