Vocational language course
German: Berufssprachkurs
Vocational language courses (BSK for short) prepare people from abroad for their daily professional life in Germany, and they are offered by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees. They are usually based on an integration course or language level B1 and are available for all professions. The courses are aimed at immigrants from third countries, EU citizens and Germans with a migrant background. Participation in vocational language courses is generally free of charge. Depending on the participant's annual income, contributions to costs may be required. These can be covered by the employer, if need be.
