German: Handwerkskammer (HWK)
A Chamber of Crafts (Handwerkskammer, or HWK for short) represents the interests of the trades in the form of a corporation under public law (Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts). All proprietors of a trade or similar business are members of the Chamber of Trades for that given area.
