EU Blue Card Directive

The EU Blue Card Directive lays down uniform entry requirements for highly qualified people from non-EU states wanting to work in the EU. It is in this context that the EU Blue Card, a residence title entitling holders to work and a 6-month residence permit entitling holders to seek work, was introduced.
