University entrance qualification
German: Hochschulzugangsberechtigung
A university entrance qualification is the prerequisite for studying at a German university. In Germany, its usually obtained by passing the school-leaving examination, the Abitur. Anyone who has a foreign school-leaving qualification needs to find out whether their qualification is recognised as making them eligible to attend university in Germany.
