This role sits at the intersection of construction, BIM, reality capture, and digital delivery. You will lead a team responsible for verifying installation accuracy through laser scanning, point cloud analysis, model comparison, and digital verification workflows.
This is an opportunity to work on a highly complex, large-scale project while helping drive innovation in digital construction and reality capture.
What You Will Do
- Establish the construction verification process in collaboration with the client's BIM team.
- Coordinate laser scanning activities across multiple construction areas and contractor work fronts.
- Schedule field teams to capture installed works in line with project priorities.
- Manage office-based Verification Technicians processing scan data and producing verification outputs.
- Oversee point cloud registration, QA/QC, survey control validation, and design grid alignment.
- Lead scan-to-model comparison workflows to validate installation accuracy.
- Review deviation analysis and verification reports before issue.
- Liaise with the client, BIM team, construction managers, operations team, and trade contractors.
- Maintain verification trackers covering scanned areas, open issues, contractor status, and reporting progress.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for daily construction and operations meetings.
- Identify recurring installation issues and support early resolution to reduce rework.
What You Will Bring
- Experience leading reality capture, laser scanning, BIM, survey, or digital construction workflows on large-scale construction projects.
- Experience on semiconductor, data centre, pharmaceutical, mission-critical, cleanroom, or large industrial projects would be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of terrestrial laser scanning and point cloud workflows.
- Experience with scan-to-model verification and design versus as-built comparison.
- Understanding of survey control, coordinate systems, design grids, tolerances, and measurement accuracy.
- Experience using BIM and model review tools such as Revit and Navisworks.
- Fluent English and full rights to work in Germany.
Key Attributes
- Ability to manage technicians and coordinate field capture teams.
- Strong construction understanding, particularly around MEP, structural, architectural, and industrial installations.
- Ability to produce and review client-facing verification reports.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Excel and Power BI reporting.
