Working Student UAS Regulatory Affairs (m/f/d)
Interested in unmanned aviation and eager to help turn innovative UAV concepts into approved
operations? Join our team and support regulatory applications, operational documentation, and
compliant UAS processes.
YOUR MISSION:
- Support approval processes with the German Federal Aviation Office (LBA) and prepare application documents
- Contribute to SORA assessments, ConOps documents, operational manuals, risk assessments, and supporting evidence
- Maintain and quality-check technical and operational documentation with engineering and flight operations teams
- Help define, standardize, and improve internal processes for regulatory compliance and operational approvals
WHAT YOU`LL BRING:
- Technical studies (e.g. Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field)
- Strong analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach to documentation and processes
- Interest in UAS regulations, SORA, risk assessment, and approval processes; prior knowledge is a plus
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- Confident use of common office applications and ability to prepare clear, traceable documents
- Independent, reliable working style and effective collaboration across technical and operational teams
