Fircosoft Application Systems Specialist (m/w/d)

Your tasks:
• Plan, design, develop/implement code/configuration for Fircosoft applications.
• Conduct analysis to identify and verify business needs, processes, and deliverables for projects.
• Preparing the necessary documentation to define requirements and test plans and handing them over to production support.
• Troubleshoot issues across all environments and perform root cause analysis.
• Ensuring high customer satisfaction by providing high quality and timely problem solutions. These are mission-critical systems that require a high level of error-free reliability.
• Monitor and support the several watch lists like OFAC, Factiva, Dow Jones, Bundesanzeiger.
• Communicate effectively and proactively with business users, support teams, vendors and all stakeholders.
• Performing multiple tasks and working on different projects with different priorities and deadlines.
• Create and execute test cases and scripts to test changes and releases.
• Updating system software in collaboration with users.

Qualifications and skills:

• Proven practical experience with real-time payments and Fircosoft Sanction Screening.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in sanctions screening, AML transaction monitoring and other compliance functions.
• Experience developing, customizing and implementing the Fircosoft sanctions check, including updates to the exception list and rules.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline and/or at least (5) years of experience implementing technologies and/or vendor platforms to meet business needs.
• Proven experience with development, system design and integration.
• Experience in UNIX and Windows shell scripting for process automation.
• Experience with SQL scripting (Oracle, MS SQL).
• Previous experience in banking and finance.
• Experience in waterfall and agile development.
• Ability to independently manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks, projects and responsibilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas to diverse audiences.
• Detailed, thorough and hardworking individual with strong data analysis, customer service and time management skills.
• Fluent in German and English skills
