Having proof of financing means being able to prove that you are able to financially support yourself in Germany. This is particularly important when applying for a visa. Means to provide proof of financial can, for example, be documents certifying your parents' income, a bank guarantee or a declaration of a person residing in Germany stating that they will be a guarantor for the applicant.
