IT Security Consultant (m/f/d) - Risk, Compliance & DORA

What you can expect:

In our IT Advisory division, we support our clients in identifying, describing, and addressing measures to align IT with their business models. Our consultants take a management, IT, and compliance perspective. You will primarily support our clients with the following tasks:

• Development of strategies and concepts to improve information security

• Supporting our clients in special investigations to uncover white-collar crime

• Business requirements engineering (supported by detailed business analyses)

• Analysis and optimization of existing processes

• Court-admissible backup and evaluation of structured and unstructured data, including the reproduction of electronically stored data

• Development of an information security management system

• Designing solutions for digital identities

• Creating risk-aware business continuity approaches

• Designing Internet of Things security

• Technical security such as Security Incident and Event Management/Security Operation Center (SIEM/SOC)

Your profile:

• Above-average degree (Bachelor's/Diploma/Master's) in (business) computer science or mathematics, physics, statistics, or (industrial) engineering

• Knowledge in the areas of IT security, IT infrastructure, IT compliance, proven by a specialization Systems analytics, pattern recognition, or related fields

• Professional experience in risk management, compliance, or information security

• Experience in one of the following areas: IT security concepts, business continuity, identity, access management solutions, or cybersecurity

• Initial practical experience through study-related activities, internships, or initial professional experience in IT organization, system administration

• Solid basic knowledge of the architecture and functionality of common operating systems, IT infrastructures, hardware concepts, and applications

• Ideally, knowledge of database systems, IT forensics, and IT auditing

• Excellent analytical skills, high level of commitment, and initiative

• Fluent written and spoken English
