Your responsibilities

  • Develope customer and supplier relationships in international raw materials trading with a focus on (technical) ceramics and related high-performance minerals
  • Acquire new customers and suppliers using your existing network
  • Conduct market and competition analyses to identify new business potential
  • Negotiate prices, delivery terms and framework agreements in collaboration with our global trading teams and management
  • Support the strategic development of the product portfolio and global procurement sources
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events

Your profile

  • Degree in geosciences, engineering, business administration or comparable training
  • Several years of professional experience in international trade with chemical products, ceramics, raw materials or minerals (e.g. Dolomite, Feldspar or Kaolin)
  • Confident use of ERP systems (e.g. SAP), MS Office 365 and CRM systems; ideally experience with specification databases or quality management tools
  • Strong intercultural skills, proven negotiation expertise and willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Willingness to relocate to Essen (Germany) and excellent written and spoken English skills - additional language skills are an advantage
