As our Senior Controller, you will analyze and steer our international subsidiaries, supporting informed decision-making and sustainable growth by evaluating financial results, cost structures, and business developments.

Your responsibilities

You will drive performance transparency and value creation across our international subsidiaries through data-driven analysis and strong business partnering.

  • Be responsible for affiliate controlling of selected international subsidiaries, acting as a key business partner to local management
  • Drive performance controlling by analyzing, challenging, and supporting the development of improvement measures and performance initiatives
  • Coordinate and review planning processes as well as group reporting in accordance with IFRS and internal standards, ensuring accuracy and transparency
  • Perform data-driven root cause analyses, visualize key insights, and derive actionable recommendations for management
  • Prepare and evaluate investment proposals, conduct business case analyses, and perform variance (actual vs. target) and ad-hoc analyses
  • Manage administrative, financial, and contractual matters, contributing to cross-functional business topics and initiatives

Your profile
  • You have successfully completed a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field, with above-average results, ideally with a focus on controlling, international accounting, or production-related topics
  • You bring several years of relevant professional experience, preferably gained in an international environment
  • You are fluent in both German and English, written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage
  • You demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Office and have solid experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI
  • You are open to international travel as part of your role, including frequent travel to the German site of Rothe Erde in Dortmund
  • You are characterized by a high level of commitment, flexibility, and strong intercultural competence
  • Strong communication skills, initiative, and a collaborative mindset complete your profile
