An internship agreement or an internship contract contains the external conditions of the agreed occupation, just like an employment contract This includes the duration of the internship, the working hours per week, and the potential remuneration, for example. The agreement is not mandatory, but recommended, because there is no law regulating the rights and obligations of interns. With the internship agreement, both parties to the contract can protect themselves legally.
