If you obtained your professional qualification in Germany and are already living in the Federal Republic of Germany, please contact your local foreigners authority to apply for an opportunity card.

Please beware

When you apply for your visa, you will need to provide proof of your German qualification or proof that your foreign qualification is fully recognised. Proof of recognition can be either a recognition notice from the competent recognition body in Germany, a Statement of Comparability issued by the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB), or the status of your qualification in the anabin database. Find out more about the recognition of foreign qualifications.

Please beware

These results are a non-binding assessment based on your selections. In order for the assessment to be accurate and helpful, truthful selections are required. The Federal Foreign Office is the only body responsible for issuing the opportunity card.
