Wir sind ein kleines, aber profitables und wachsendes Start-up-Unternehmen in Gummersbach bei Köln.

Unser Markt ist die Branderkennung und der größere Markt der Gebäudetechnik.

Unsere eigene Anwendung www.bmacloud.de ist in PHP geschrieben und wir haben auch einige IOT-Komponenten, die damit zusammenhängen.

Um unser Team weiter auszubauen und um unsere drei derzeitigen Entwickler zu unterstützen, suchen wir jemanden, der bereits Erfahrung im Schreiben von PHP-Code hat und dies auf strukturierte Art und Weise tut.

Du bist der ideale Kandidat, wenn du in der Lage bist, effizient und schnell PHP in einer zeitgemäßen und skalierbaren Weise zu entwickeln, um die Code-Basis der Produkte unseres Unternehmens auf sinnvolle Weise zu verbessern.
Ebenso solltest du in der Lage sein, den Code zu testen und gegebenenfalls Anpassungen vorzunehmen.
Du solltest Erfahrung darin haben, zum gesamten Lebenszyklus der Softwareentwicklung beizutragen.

Verantwortlichkeiten
Entwicklung von sauberem, gut durchdachtem Code (PHP)
Fehlerbehebung und Testen der Kernproduktsoftware, um eine starke Optimierung zu gewährleisten
Mitwirkung an allen Phasen des Entwicklungslebenszyklus

Qualifikationen
Erfahrung in der PHP Software-Entwicklung
Bachelor-Abschluss in Informatik oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet (keine Voraussetzung)
Leidenschaft für beste Design- und Kodierungspraktiken
Gute Kenntnisse von relationalen Datenbanken, Tools und PHP-Kenntnissen
Wir interessieren uns nicht für deine Hochschulausbildung – für uns zählt dein Knowhow!

Deutsch ist kein Muss – auch englischsprachige Teammitglieder sind herzlich Willkommen!

Als ersten Schritt im Bewerbungsprozess führen wir immer ein kleines Gespräch, in dem du Fragen über uns stellen kannst. Dann würden wir gerne deinen Git-Hub und am besten ein Github sehen, wo wir auch Versionsstände etc. sehen können.

Danach werden wir dich bitten, einen standardisierten Test zu machen.

We are a small but profitable and growing start-up company in Gummersbach near Cologne.

Our market is fire detection and the bigger market is building services.

Our own application www.bmacloud.de is written in PHP and we also have some IOT components related to it.

To further expand our team and to support our three current developers, we are looking for someone who has experience writing PHP code and does it in a structured way.

You are the ideal candidate if you are able to efficiently and quickly develop PHP in a timely and scalable manner to improve the code base of our company’s products in a meaningful way.
Likewise, you should be able to test code and make adjustments as necessary.
You should have experience contributing to the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Developing clean, well thought out code (PHP).
Troubleshoot and test core product software to ensure strong optimization
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
Qualifications

Experience in PHP software development
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (not a requirement)
Passion for best design and coding practices
Strong knowledge of relational databases, tools, and PHP skills
