WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The BOXER 8x8 armoured vehicle has been developed in a joint co-operation programme between Germany and the Netherlands by the international consortium ARTEC GmbH in Munich, Germany. ARTEC is a joint-venture of Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG, Rheinmetall Military Vehicles GmbH and Rheinmetall Defence Nederland B.V. ARTEC is the prime contractor responsible for the BOXER Programme, the co-ordination of series production and the focal point for export. Annual sales are normally between 200 and 300 million EUR and as of November 2019 more than 1,200 BOXER vehicles have been contracted.

- Management and coordination of the contractual ILS requirements of one or more BOXER projects with focus on UK MIV
- Main emphasis on Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), Technical Documentation (IETP/AESP) and Material Management
- Act as interface between ILS and other disciplines such as Engineering and Safety within ARTEC
- Assignment and coordination of ILS tasks to specific Main Subcontractors within the Consortium (Rheinmetall and KMW)
- Coordinating ILS matters and act as the focal point for lLS between industry and Official Services (OCCAR/NSPA)
- Conduct Quality Assurance activities (QA) for ILS deliverables, such as Technical Documentation and Supportability Reports
- Support the ILS working groups and the review meetings for one or several projects
- Report the status of lLS activities ARTEC internal and to the Customer
- Logistics Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, RAM(S) Engineer or equivalent
- Experience in the application of ILS to complex systems
- Good analytical skills and holistic view of problem solving
- Business fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages advantageous)
- Knowledge of ASD standards, with focus on S1000D and S2000M
- Working knowledge of MIL-STD-1388 preferred
- Knowledgeable in design and development of armoured vehicle or defence related products
- Willingness to travel
- Knowledge of lLS related UK standards (AESP, DEFSTAN, DLF (JSP) ) preferred
- Experience in working on multilingual international programmes preferred
