Child benefit
Child benefit is a transfer benefit based on family policy and is part of the fiscal equalisation of benefits for families. The aim of equalisation of benefits for families is to take account of the unavoidable special burden on parents resulting from maintenance obligations in the amount of the child’s subsistence level, including the child’s needs for care and education or training.
