02 April 2020 – The current corona crisis is affecting people all over the world and is also imposing a number of restrictions on us. It is changing our everyday life, the way we deal with our fellow human beings, as well as our work environment. For many visitors and users of "Make it in Germany", however, the current situation also leads to the fact that career goals in Germany and very specific future plans cannot be realized for the time being. Despite these uncertain times, we remain optimistic about future plans not falling apart but only needing to be put "on hold". In the meantime, we continue to work and develop new offers for you.

We will keep you up to date and develop new offers

We, too, are forced to find new ways of working. We also see it as an opportunity to develop suitable offers and try out new formats.

  • Stay up to date on the most important developments in the field of skilled worker immigration in Germany. Our Twitter account provides daily news and features concerning this topic. In our frequent "Questions and Answers" sessions you can ask us questions directly via tweets. 
  • Even though travelling is currently not possible, you can learn more about Germany. In our "Discover Germany" section we give you the most important facts about German society, politics and economy.   
  • In our media center you will find a wide range of videos. The "Make it in Germany" testimonials describe their experiences living and working in Germany. Additionally, our explanatory videos inform you about the most important steps of immigrating to Germany.
  • We are developing a new webinar service: An interactive series of lectures that will be held online. They are aimed at international qualified professionals, trainees and students as well as employers in Germany. Questions via chat can be put directly to the experts. The webinars will be held in cooperation with other specialist units.
