The senior is responsible for reviewing, evaluating and strategically developing information security and cyber resilience across market infrastructures. Based on extensive experience, the senior assesses risk and governance compliance, plans and leads red team testing, designs and implements cyber resilience strategies, and provides project management and operational governance for complex multi-stakeholder initiatives.

Essential tasks

• Review and evaluate policies, controls, and change requests, including risk assessment, governance compliance, and impact assessment.
• Planning, organizing and executing red team tests within market infrastructures.
• Advising on regulatory requirements and frameworks of cyber and information security (data forensics, fraud detection, combating financial crime).
• Developing, planning and implementing cyber resilience strategies.
• Assume project management and operational governance for complex projects with numerous stakeholders and align governance processes with the goals of the organization.

Mandatory qualifications for this position – please do not apply if you have no experience in the following areas:

• At least 6 years of experience reviewing and evaluating policies, controls, and change requests from an information security and cyber resilience perspective. This includes expertise in risk assessment, ensuring compliance with the organization's governance frameworks, and assessing the impact of changes.
• At least 3 years of experience in planning, organizing and conducting red team tests within market infrastructures.
• Experience with market infrastructures as well as knowledge of relevant software/hardware systems, including new technologies such as distributed ledger technology (DLT), is an advantage.
• Experience in regulatory requirements and cyber and information security frameworks (e.g., data forensics, fraud detection, or financial crime combat).
• At least 5 years of experience in developing, planning and implementing cyber resilience strategies.
• Knowledge of the Eurosystem's payment/market infrastructures for payments, securities settlement and/or collateral management is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, or equivalent) are beneficial.
• At least 5 years of expertise in project management and operational governance within market infrastructures or other relevant areas. This includes experience in coordinating complex projects with numerous stakeholders and aligning governance processes with the organization's goals.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project) is an advantage.
