About the Opportunity

We are hiring on behalf of our client – a well-established tech company with over 300 employees, headquartered in Cologne, Germany. Known for its innovative digital products and strong engineering culture, the company is now looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) to help build and optimize secure, scalable infrastructure and deployment processes.

You will join a collaborative, international engineering team and have a direct impact on the evolution of high-performance systems and automation standards.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
  • Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar
  • Enhance observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
  • Collaborate with software engineers to ensure smooth, fast, and secure deployments
  • Monitor system performance, security, and ensure high availability
  • Apply best practices for cloud security, compliance, and DevOps standards

Your Profile

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
  • Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written); German is a plus, but not required
